Hello everyone!

Hope everyone has been good and comfortable resting at home in the warmth of the heater. We have a few events we would like to inform you about! It's an exciting time for GUMS. So without much further ado, here are our plans for the month.

1. Ski Trip
In association with the Glasgow University Singapore Society, GUMS would like to invite everyone that is interested in skiing in the Cairngorn mountains to please contact us ASAP so we get you going!

Here are the details of the trip:
Location: Aviemore, Cairngorns

Time: All day
Cost: £30 for members, £32 for non-members

The cost include the transportation up there and the rentals. So please do respond quickly as we will have to submit the money and the list of people soon.

The DEADLINE for payment is this Saturday, 9th of February 2008 at 6:30pm
If you would like to go, please contact Yan Nee (yipieyaya86@yahoo.com) for Strathclyde folks

There is no reservation or pull-out. We will not book a place for you without payment and once payment is made, we are unable to refund you if you are unable to attend.

2. Chinese New Year Dinner
A little late, but we figured lets make festivities continue right to the very end! We are arranging a Chinese New Year Dinner. If we have enough people, we'll even make it a karaoke night at no extra cost! So do come for the banter, the fun and the celebrations.
